Supervision
Supervision for those who spend their time supporting others — a safe space to pause, reflect and be supported yourself.
Supervision
Clinical supervision is a reflective, supportive space where professionals can pause and thoughtfully explore their work with others. It offers time to consider client relationships, ethical responsibilities, emotional impact, and professional development in a way that helps you practise safely and sustainably. Supervision is not only for counsellors and psychotherapists — it can be valuable for anyone working in roles that involve supporting, caring for, or guiding others. I offer person-centred supervision for counsellors as well as professionals from related fields who would benefit from a grounded, relational space to reflect, think, and care for themselves alongside the work they do.
How I work
I offer person-centred clinical supervision for counsellors and trainees who are looking for a supportive, ethical, and collaborative supervisory relationship. My focus is on creating a space where you can think clearly about your work, practise safely, and feel supported to work within your competence.
My approach is relational, reflective and collaborative.
Supervision sessions provide a confidential and contained space to:
Reflect on client work in depth
Explore ethical questions and professional decision-making
Consider boundaries, risk, safeguarding, and endings
Notice how your own responses and experiences influence the work
Our work together is reviewed regularly to ensure supervision continues to meet your needs. Any concerns around ethics, boundaries, or safe practice are explored openly and with care.
Emergency supervision is available when needed.
Who I am
About Julie as a Supervisor
I am a Person-Centred, Integrative Psychotherapeutic Counsellor and Clinical Supervisor (MBACP).
My supervision training is grounded in the person-centred modality, with a strong emphasis on reflection, and ethical awareness. I work in a way that respects your autonomy as a practitioner, while holding the responsibilities that come with safe and ethical practice.
I offer supervision to counsellors in training and qualified practitioners working in private practice or organisational settings.
